Seen in the picture are sunflower fields of the Yakjon Farm in Sukchon County.

They devoted their efforts to cultivation of sunflower, mindful that one of the important methods to solve the edible oil problem is to cultivate oil-bearing crops widely in rural areas. As a result a satisfactory scene of bumper sunflower harvest was unfolded in the fields.

The officials of the farm set the high target to cultivate sunflower on a large scale and promoted it actively. They implanted the importance of farming oil-bearing crops into minds of farmers and aroused them to cultivation of sunflower.

All the farmers and officials made efforts to cultivate sunflower well.

It is a unanimous desire of the officials and farmers of the Yakjon Farm to reap bumper sunflower harvest.
