The art squad of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League gave an art performance at the Pyongyang Municipal Youth Park Open-Air Theatre on Aug. 27 to celebrate the Youth Day.

Poem story "Lineage of Destiny" and female solo "We Cannot Live without You" and other numbers showed the reverence for the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who brings up tens of millions of sons and daughters of the country to be heroes of the times and giants of creation.

The performers well represented the youths’ will to leave traces of worthwhile life on the road for prosperity of the country and happiness of the people by firmly carrying forward the indomitable revolutionary spirit and working traits of the preceding generations who were boundlessly loyal to the cause of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

There were also numbers dealing with enthusiasm of the Korean youths displaying heroism and bravery peculiar to them at every theater for socialist construction.

The performance ended with chorus "March of Korean Youth" and "Ardent Desire". It showed the revolutionary mettle of the young vanguard to hasten the comprehensive rejuvenation and development of Korean-style socialism by dint of patriotism and unity, rallied close around the great Party Central Committee.

Among the audience were Kim Jong Sun, department director of the WPK Central Committee, Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials of the youth league and youth and students in Pyongyang.
