Ko Ryong, a teacher of Ryongwang Senior Middle School in Central District, Pyongyang Municipality, has not been long an educationist.

However, he has achieved remarkable successes during his career; took the first place in the municipality-level physics practical lecture contest; was highly appreciated at the national teaching methods symposium in field of general education; took the academic degree of Physics Master; was selected as October 8 Model Professor.

His successes were resulted from his inexhaustible enthusiasm.

One day when he began to teach at the school, he was questioned unexpectedly from a student during the class and failed to give a satisfactory answer.

He keenly felt shameful from this incident and buckled down to improving his qualification.
