The 2024 national exhibition of sci-tech successes in the field of furniture and finishing building materials closed with due ceremony at the Sci-Tech Complex here on August 13.

On display there were more than 3 800 products presented by units for producing furniture and finishing building materials.

Many units won a high appreciation at the exhibition for having creatively settled the sci-tech problems arising in improving the quality of building materials and effectively used the locally available raw and other materials.

During the exhibition, there were a sci-tech presentation, an advanced sci-tech dissemination and other events for technological exchanges, and contracts were made to order the presented products.

Present at the closing ceremony were Vice-Premier Jon Sung Guk, Minister of Construction and Building-Materials Industry So Jong Jin, officials concerned and participants in the exhibition.

The vice-premier made a closing address.
