There is a farmer who enjoys love and respect among people at the Hoeryong Fruit Farm because of his annual production of lots of fruit tree saplings.
He was Jo Yong Gon, a farmer master.
He has worked at the farm for over 10 years. During those days he has produced over hundreds of thousands of tree saplings.
He enrolled in the study-while-working system and finished the university course.
In fact, studying while working--it was not easier said than done. But Jo Yong Gon learnt and worked day and night with precious dream of turning into reality the Party’s intention to supply enough fruits to the people in the northern part of the country.
During the period he was highly appreciated at the national sci-tech presentation in the field of pomiculture and was granted Master Degree.
When people ask him his secret, he says that any dreams can be realized in our socialist country and that his desire is to get a Doctor Degree.
Through this fact, anybody can keenly realize once again the superiority of our socialist system in which all conditions and environment for learning are fully provided.
