Request He Made at Commodity Show

One September day of Juche 104(2015) the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un toured a commodity show presented by the munitions industry.

Exhibited at the show were various daily necessities including plastic and metal commodities, household electric appliances, toys, hard glassware and furniture.

Looking at the commodities on display one by one with satisfaction, the respected General Secretary highly praised officials and working class of the factories and enterprises in the munitions industrial field who make efforts to contribute to improving people’s living standard.

Stressing that to produce in a larger quantity quality consumer goods is for preserving our own things and giving fuller play to the advantages of our socialist system, he gave an instruction as follows:

"It is needless to produce any goods unsuited to the people’s taste and what is important in turning out commodities is to sensitively understand what kind of goods the people like and concentrate efforts on the production of goods winning their favor."

Keeping deep in their minds the earnest instructions of the respected General Secretary, the officials made a firm pledge to produce even a daily necessity on the highest level.

It Is Not A Practical Affair

One January day of Juche 107(2018) the respected General Secretary inspected the Pyongyang Pharmaceutical Factory.

Making rounds of packing materials workshop, western and Koryo (traditional) medicine workshops and other parts of the factory, the respected General Secretary expressed satisfaction at the fact that the factory had established the combined production system on its own as required by the standards of medicine production and quality management.

Saying that the various production processes at the Koryo medicine workshop were also renovated technically, he added that the equipment our scientists, technicians and workers made on their own were good. He instructed that the combined analysis room should be equipped with modern facilities for scientific analysis.

The officials were deeply moved by the warm love of the respected General Secretary for people.

The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un said that the Pyongyang Pharmaceutical Factory should be remodeled in a modern way in order to produce and provide to our people more medicine, the important material basis for giving full play to the superiority of our country’s people-oriented public health system and one of main means of the preventive and curative medical care.

And he added as follows:

The renovation of the Pyongyang Pharmaceutical Factory is not merely a practical affair but an important, sacred and worthwhile work to promote our people’s health and makes our people feel the advantages of our socialist public health system and the WPK’s policy on public health in reality.

Indeed, the instructions of the respected General Secretary teach officials the spirit of devotedly serving the people.
