The electric power industrial sector has recorded higher production results than the same period of last year upholding the decisions of the 10th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The Ministry of Electric Power Industry has conducted the operation and command to increase the electricity production in a decisive and scientific way. Officials of the Ministry went down to the power stations and solved the knotty problems arising in production in close connection with the relevant units.

The Party organizations of various units conduct the vigorous political and ideological work to instill into their employees the noble consciousness that they defend the lifeline of the national economy and ensure that the fierce flame of campaign to create new standard and record is kindled vigorously.

The electricity producers across the country put spurs to reinforcement and readjustment and achieved substantial progress in production and thus open up the road for stable and sustainable electricity production.
