Umbrella Pine in Wonsan is an evergreen needle-leaf high tree growing at Wonsan University of Agriculture.

The tree is a monoecism plant which blooms in March and April. Its flower is unisexual one without floral envelop. People plant it as garden tree and use as timber resource.

Umbrella Pine in Wonsan was transplanted in about 1890 when it was 30 years old.

As of now its height is more than 19m, girth of its root neck 2.2m, girth of its breast height 1.9m and width of its crown 6.4m.

The state of its growth is good and it is the tallest tree among Umbrella Pine trees in our country.

Umbrella Pine in Wonsan is a living monument with academic significance which adds beauty to the landscape of the area.
