Working people’s organizations held meetings with the participants in the 5th National Conference of Mothers on March 6 on the occasion of the March 8 International Women’s Day.

Present there were Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK), officials of the trade union and the UAWK, workers, trade union members and agricultural workers in Pyongyang Municipality.

At the meeting attended by workers and trade union members held at the Central Hall of Workers, Han Kum Suk said in an excited tone that she, an ordinary worker of the Chollima Steel Complex, took part in the significant conference of mothers organized by the Party and was awarded the Communist Mother Honor Prize to her great surprise.

The audience was moved by the story of Ryang Un Hye, a teacher of Jinhung Junior Middle School in Moranbong District, who devoted her sincere efforts to helping a dumb girl have beautiful dreams and become optimistic.

At the meeting attended by agricultural workers Ri Hwa Suk, a farmer of the Tokjung Farm in Koksan County, and Ri Yon Hui, a farmer of the Hwapho Farm of the South Phyongan Provincial Rural Economy Committee, who were awarded the Communist Mother Honor Prize at the 5th National Conference of Mothers, made speeches.

They said with excitement that they can never forget the benevolent image of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who called ordinary farmers who did what they should do as women to the venue of the glorious conference and shook hands with them.

They stressed that the respected General Secretary is the benevolent father of the large socialist family as he has trained the women of the DPRK to be a powerful force pushing forward the revolution and construction and indomitable fighters devoting themselves to the country and people, and glorified the life of the women.
