A national symposium in the field of cosmetics industry took place at the Sci-Tech Complex of the DPRK on September 4 under the sponsorship of the Korean Association of Cosmetics Industry of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

Attending the symposium were scientists and technicians from the Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory, the Sinuiju Cosmetics Factory and other units, and more than 10 papers were presented to the symposium.

The proposals for making a substantial contribution to improving the people’s living standards drew the attention of the participants.
