Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, received a message of greeting from Maha Vajiralongkorn, king of the Kingdom of Thailand, on Sept. 6.

The message said:

On the occasion of the anniversary of the foundation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, I wish to extend my sincere felicitations and best wishes for the good health and happiness of your Excellency as well as for the peace and prosperity of the DPRK and her people.
