Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, received a message of greeting from Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, president of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, on September 4.

In the message the president of Equatorial Guinea extended the warmest congratulations, on behalf of the people and government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea and on his own behalf, to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and the Korean people on the 76th birthday of the DPRK.

Heartily wishing peace, progress and prosperity to the DPRK, he reaffirmed the willingness to maintain and strengthen the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation between the peoples in the two countries.
