I Was Born Again Here

When a woman from Jangphung County entered the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital, she was suffering from serious anemia and a risky complication.

The woman shed tears of gratitude, feeling that she was living in a beautiful garden of human love.

The medical workers continued to make devotions to recover her health even after her resuscitation.

Finally, the woman gave birth to an adorable daughter thanks to such trustworthy medical workers who took care of the patients with utmost sincerity even on high days and holidays.

A woman living in Kumgang County didn’t know what to do but cried ceaselessly when her 10-month-old daughter was diagnosed at the Okryu Children’s Hospital to have a congenital heart disease.

Ri Chol Jin, head of the Cardiovascular Surgical Department of the Okryu Children’s Hospital, and Kim Jin Myong, the doctor in charge, calmed her down saying that the hospital was built in order to cure children like Hyo Yon, her little daughter, and that she could set her mind at rest.

But at that time, the woman didn’t fully understand what they meant.

The woman clearly realized the meaning of the name "Okryu Children’s Hospital" witnessing the devotion of the medical workers who successfully performed a risky major operation to give the baby a healthy heart and feeling the warm love and benevolence of the Party that reach the children every day and every minute.

Loved and respected by the people are medical workers including chief ophthalmologist Ha Jong Ho of the Ophthalmic Section of the Phyongsong City Hospital.
