House of Love Full of Kindred Feeling

Early this year, the officials and security officers of the Sadong District Security Department visited Pyongyang Primary School for Orphans.

They shared greetings with the head of the school and acquainted themselves with the lives of the orphans with paternal care.

And they asked if there was anything they could do to help.

They told the official, who answered that all the orphans were growing up happily envying nothing thanks to the Party’s care, that they wanted to contribute as much as they could to the orphans who are so much beloved and looked after by the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

Then they offered to render active help to the school.

They learned in detail about the number of classes, number of pupils in each class and even the orphans’ birthdays.

That evening, they held a consultative meeting and decided that all the officials and security officers would take charge of one class each and look after the orphans in terms of studying, living and health as they would do their own children.

They went to the school a few days later to provide the pupils of the classes under their charge with school things, confectionaries and sporting goods they prepared.

The security officers didn’t forget to visit the school on high days, holidays and other anniversaries, and also on the orphans’ birthdays.

In this process, it has become their unbreakable routine to call the teachers of the school every Sunday evening to learn about the orphans’ lives of the week and spend time with the orphans at school on the last Sunday every month.

Employees of the Moranbong Printing Plant have also formed kindred ties with the orphans.

What they paid attention to was the living of the teachers who taught the orphans.

They prepared materials needed for education with sincerity, saying that the teachers must be free from cares and worries in order to concentrate on education.

When they visited the school on a holiday shortly ago, the teachers were busy getting ready for the new school term.

They were making preparations for teaching, examining the classrooms in which lessons were to be held soon and giving simulation lessons.

The employees of the printing plant were so impressed to see the teachers striving to bring up the orphans to be excellent even on holidays.

So, they spent that day with the teachers preparing for the new school term.

Those who help the school both materially and mentally remind the officials and staff of the school of the benevolence of our socialist system in which the whole country has become one family and, at the same time, inspire them to bring up the orphans to be reliable pillars of the future.

The orphans are always cheerful and full of brightness as they grow up in the garden of such ardent love and tender feelings.
