Passing-on-technique Conference Held

There took place a passing-on-technique conference in the Samjiyon Soybean Paste and Sauce Factory.

Present there were dozens of working people selected from the foodstuff factories of South and North Hamgyong, Jagang and Ryanggang provinces.

In the wake of a general lecture on basic foodstuff production in the foodstuff factories to be newly built, there was a substantial work to impart standard regulations of operation according to processes and action principles of equipment to the working people engaged in the field of regional industry.

Those from Kyongsong, Orang, Kumya and Hamju counties which were designated for construction of regional-industry factories this year set models in the 10-day conference.

They displayed high zeal for study saying that the production cannot be put on a normal footing in the future unless they have knowledge about the modern production processes.

The conference was held as a part of work for reliably guaranteeing the normalization of production in the modern regional-industry factories to be built in the future.

Material and technical Foundations of Raw-material Bases Consolidated

North Hamgyong Province is directing big efforts to laying firm material and technical foundations of the raw-material base stations in Orang and Kyongsong counties in which the modern regional-industry factories are being built vigorously.

It has already sent to the stations efficient farming machines needed for plowing, sowing and harvesting while taking continuous measures for enough supplying farming facilities and materials.

The province strengthens the ranks of officials and employees of the raw-material base stations and makes success in arranging well the stations and workteams.

On the basis of survey again of the actual conditions of the stations in above-said counties some days ago, the provincial officials mapped out detailed plan to spruce up the appearance of the stations.

And they took necessary measures in a detail way for material supply and formation of building forces, while making strong demands on builders to pay special attention to ensuring quality of the structures.

Moreover, they made sure that the builders build also sci-tech dissemination base to raise the sci-tech level of raw-material base farming.

Thanks to their devoted efforts engaged in the construction, the raw-material base station of the Orang and Kyongsong counties could be built wonderfully.

Putting Big Efforts into Production of Oil-bearing Tree Saplings 

Tongsin County pushes ahead with the work to increase the area of forests of economic value in order to provide the to-be-built modern regional industry factories with enough raw materials. To this end, the county directs big efforts into production of oil-bearing tree saplings

Officials of the county, together with researchers of relevant units, studied the practical issues arising in creation of forests of oil-bearing trees and conducted the organization for increasing the oil-bearing tree sapling production in a watertight way.

The county set the land appropriate for tree sapling production and secured a large quantity of tree seeds while putting efforts into improving fertility of soil; and also promoted the work to cope with drought and flood.

Employees of the county oil-bearing crop station conduct the weeding and manuring of nutrient solution while cultivating the tree saplings on a sci-tech basis.

As a result, the county has a guarantee for producing lots of oil-bearing tree saplings.

Over One Hundred Hectares of Forest Created

Upholding the Party’s policy on regional industry development Sukchon County has channeled efforts into creation of forest of raw material for making paper and planted trees in the area of over 100 hectares.

The county put forward the work of solving the raw material problem arising in paper production as that of county Party committee.

Senior officials of the county set the suitable land on the spot and paid attention to securing tree saplings.

Working people in the county also turned out as one to creation of forest of raw-material for making papers.

Thanks to their devotional efforts the county has come to achieve success of creating forest of raw-material for making paper in a short span of time.

More Sugar Crops Cultivated 

Ichon County puts spurs to creating raw-material base in conformity with building of modern regional industry factories.

In particular, the county directs much effort toward cultivating sugar crops, mindful of the importance of provision of raw material for sugar production in normalizing production of foodstuff factory.

Based on the experience gained in cultivation of sugar crops, the county expanded its area of sugar crops and paid deep attention to securing seeds.

Now, officials of the county inform employees in the raw-material base of the technical issues arising in cultivating sugar crops and set high demand on them.

And they actively solve the problems arising in promoting farming processes including weeding and manuring of nutrient solution.

The county continues to intensify the work of cultivating more sugar crops in close connection with relevant unit.
