Officials and working class of the metallurgical industrial sector have turned out to implement the resolutions of the 9th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea. They set higher targets in Juche-based remodeling projects and wage a vigorous struggle to hit them.

The Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex pushes forward with the construction of the energy-saving oxygen heat blast furnace. The working class of the complex wage 24-7 campaign to complete the construction as scheduled while clearing away defeatism and mysticism about technique.

The Chollima Steel Complex pushes ahead with the work for implementing them after minutely setting the daily plans for establishing processes of steel production by electric furnace and continuous rolling.

The officials and workers of the Chongjin Steel Plant have already established steel production process using Samhwachol and built a vertical furnace for oxidizing roasting pellet to ensure the firm guarantee for increasing the production of Samhwachol. They, now, direct primary efforts into perfecting the technical preparation for increasing the pellet production while promoting the repair project of revolving large furnaces.

The Posan Iron Works also promotes the construction of the vertical furnace for oxidizing roasting pellet so as to provide Samhwachol enough to metal factories
