The national exhibition of IT successes-2024 opened in the DPRK.

On display at the exhibition, held at the gymnasium of Kim Il Sung University and the website of national exhibition of IT successes through practical and virtual exhibition, are over 1 500 successes and products presented by more than 480 units in Pyongyang and regions which have taken the lead in an informatization drive.

There will be an artificial intelligence program contest, a programming contest, a computer virus vaccine program contest and a presentation during the exhibition.

An opening ceremony took place at Kim Il Sung University on Wednesday.

Attending the ceremony were Vice-Premier Kim Myong Hun, Department Director of the C.C., Workers’ Party of Korea Choe Tong Myong, President of the State Academy of Sciences Kim Sung Jin, Minister of Education Kim Sung Du, officials concerned and officials and working people of the exhibiting units.

Minister of IT Industry Ju Yong Il made an opening address.
