Caring for Employees

 

A few days ago, laughter filled the hostel room where employees of the Rason Marine Industry Station were staying.

The manager, Jon Yong Il, and other officials of the station visited them. They always kept it a routine to pay deep attention to the boarders’ lives and timely solve the arising problems.

Shortly ago, the manager realized that the newcomers to the station who had settled down at the hostel were experiencing inconvenience.

A consultative meeting was immediately held to improve their living conditions.

The manager suggested in earnest arranging their hostel room nicely as they would do their own daughters’.

His sincerity touched the heartstrings of the attendants at the meeting.

The next day, the room was furnished with a TV and other daily necessities and the room members could live without any inconvenience.

Not content with this, the officials regularly learnt about the employees’ health and other troubles and took prompt measures.

Thanks to such warm care, many employees of the station distinguish themselves in work.

 

With Kindred Feelings

 

Some days ago, Ri Song Ok, head of the people’s neighbourhood unit No. 14 of Kyogu-dong, Central District, and other neighbors visited Ri Chun Bok, an old woman who was hospitalized.

She was so moved to see them warmly asking about her state of health and conditions in the hospital while handing over nutritive foodstuffs and materials for tonics to her.

The old woman told the neighbors with emotion that she wanted to see the kind neighbors though it was only a few days after her admission, and Ri Song Ok said as follows:

"We are none other than one family living under the same roof."

In the neighbourhood unit, there are a lot of beautiful stories about the warm love and feelings shared between the neighbors.

The head of neighborhood unit is always concerned for the working couples despite her busy work for the neighbourhood unit. The inhabitants further deepen each other’s feelings while visiting families with the children joining the Korean People’s Army to congratulate them with sincerity and share pains with the neighbors who suffered unexpected sorrows and help them.

In this process, the people’s neighbourhood unit became a model unit in all affairs across the dong and was honored with Thrice July 11 Red-flag Neighbourhood Unit of Loyalty.

 

Why They Visited Farm

 

Some days ago two women visited the Singwang Greenhouse Farm under the South Hwanghae Provincial Rural Economy Committee. They were Rim Kil Bok, residing in the 9th People’s Neighborhood Unit, and her elder sister Rim Chu Wol.

Here goes a story.

One day Rim Kil Bok visited a farm and gave labor assistance to it. When she returned home she could not go to sleep with ease as she seemed to have been lukewarm toward the assistance to rural communities though she worked all day long with farmers.

Since the following day Rim Kil Bok and her sister made efforts to help the rural communities; visited various factories to obtain farm machine accessories and farming tools; made a long night journey to seek for agricultural sci-tech books. Thereupon the sisters visited the Singwang Greenhouse Farm with lots of aid materials.

During the recess of the work they provided the farmers with aid materials and performed a duet in front of the farmers, thus encouraging them a great deal.

When the farmers expressed thanks toward them, they said that to actively help the socialist farm is a due duty of citizen of the Republic.
