Kangwon Province is pushing ahead with the construction of several army-people power stations conducive to the regional development and improvement of the people’s living standard.

Amid the surging zeal of the provincial officials and working people who have turned out for implementing the decisions of the 10th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the preparations for operation of the Kosong Army-People Power Station are being promoted with successes made in the construction of the Hoeyang Army-People Power Station.

The province held a consultative meeting days ago to deeply analyze and review the construction of the power stations and discussed the ways for further accelerating the project.

The meeting mainly stressed the issues of enhancing the sense of responsibility and role of the officials in charge of field guidance and fully displaying their spirit of unconditional, thorough and accurate in every theater for implementing the Party decision.

According to the provincial operation, a dynamic drive is being waged at the construction sites of the army-people power stations to push ahead with the project as planned.

The officials and working people engaged in the Kosong Army-People Power Station are directing efforts to the preparations for running the power station while propelling the greenery and dwelling construction for its employees at the final stage.

Builders of the Hoeyang Army-People Power Station are making collective innovations helping and leading each other forward for carrying out their projects in a responsible manner.

The province is conducting the field political work in an offensive way for stirring up the masses’ revolutionary and patriotic zeal and putting efforts into keeping ahead the provision of material and thus making the flames of the campaign to implement the Party’s ideology and defend the Party’s policies flare up.

It also makes a detailed study of the progress of the project and reviews it in a substantial way while generalizing the good experience gained among the field commanding officers.

The officials and working people in the province are putting continuous spurs to the construction of the power stations, mindful of the importance of their duty in successfully building the power stations.
