A passing-on technique was held in North Hamgyong Province as a part of the work for doing well next year’s wheat and barley farming.

It stressed again the importance of good wheat and barley farming and deeply dealt with technical issues related with seed selection, sterilization, improvement of soil fertility and ensuring due season. In particular, introduced in detail to it were experience of the township farm in Hwadae County which brought high yield in wheat and barley farming this year with the data on the farms in Chongjin City which made a success in the sowing preparations.

Meanwhile, the issues were emphasized to increase the proportion of mechanization in farm work and actively applying various kinds of small farm tools.

The passing-on technique served as a significant occasion in encouraging the masses to make a clear progress in the struggle for implementing the Party’s policy on changing the structure of grain production of the country.
