The agricultural workers at Manphung and Sokda farms in Jungsan County, South Phyongan Province of the DPRK, have received new houses amid the successive appearance of modern villages in rural areas across the country.
Modern houses of various styles with regional features were built at the farms and fruit trees and other trees of good species were planted in villages to add to their scenery.
Present at the ceremony for moving into those houses were Kim Man Jo, secretary of the provincial Party committee, and officials, builders and agricultural workers in the county.
Kim Hyon Chol, vice-chairman of the provincial people’s committee, made a congratulatory address. Then licenses for the use of houses were conferred and speeches made.
Officials visited the new houses to congratulate their owners and share joy with them.
