From olden times, there are famous mountains such as Mt Kumgang in our country.
Among them is Sinphyong Kumgang, which is situated in the Ahobiryong mountain ranges stretching down the middle area of Korea, called a small Kumgang in the era of Workers’ Party for its curious rocks, falls and abundant products.
It is divided into other scenic spots as it has freshness and wonderfulness in conspicuous landscape consisting of narrow valleys.
In particular, its scenery harmonizing with clear stream flowing through each valley all the year round is rare to be seen in others.
Varieties of scenes and beauty spots in Jinju, Kumgang and Okryu and other gorges, the falls and pools in different sizes and types and forest formed in tires along the cliffs are enhancing the superb view of its valley.
There are various species of needle-leaf trees, broadleaf trees, flower trees and fruit trees, as well as herbs, wild edible greens, animals and birds.
