There are many species of trees in the world such as a tree arousing deep emotion by dint of its beautiful flowers and fragrance and a tree evoking conspicuousness with its extraordinary shape.

Our people love pine tree the most as the ever-green tree reflects their indomitable spirit.

As for the pine tree, we think first it standing in the yard of the office building of the Party Central Committee.

One January day several years ago the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un took part in the tree planting in the yard of the office building of the Party Central Committee.

After looking at the pine tree to be planted for a while he taught officials the method of tree planting and its management and thereafter he personally dug the ground first with a shovel.

The pine tree the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un planted in the yard of the Party Central Committee, the supreme general staff of our revolution, shows the strong will of the peerlessly great person to defend the dignity of the country and achieve the prosperity with strong spirit and firmness like the pine tree which is evergreen even in snowstorms of winter.

The respected General Secretary set the pine tree as the national tree of the DPRK to implant the strong spirit and personally planted the tree in the yard of the office building of the Party Central Committee to harden the will of officials to accomplish the cause of the Party and follow the only road of socialism.

Today the pine tree grows green showing the firm faith of our people to build the socialist power on this land without fail under the leadership of the respected General Secretary and invincible spirit of Juche Korea.
