Successes Made in Rice Harvest in South Hwanghae Province

As of October 2, 10-odd city and counties in South Hwanghae Province concluded the rice harvest in the main earlier than last year and the rice harvest across the province is being conducted at its final stage. It serves as an important guarantee for the province to conclude this year’s farming successfully.

The provincial Party committee intensified the Party guidance to ensure that all the officials fulfill their responsibility and role in carrying out the struggle targets for conclusion of this year’s farming in a substantial and perfect way.

The agricultural workers in Anak County, deeply conscious that they are responsible for the country’s granary, ensured full speed and quality of rice harvest despite of the unfavorable work condition. The itinerant repair squads displayed feverish activities to ensure full operation of the farm machines.

Officials and farmers in Sinchon and Jaeryong counties also waged a vigorous struggle to carry out the daily plans without fail after mapping out a watertight plan.

Paechon County made sure officials of county-level organs took responsibility for harvest in a workteam each so that the crop estimate be same as actual yield.

Similar successes have been made in Haeju City and Yonan, Chongdan, Ongjin and Pyoksong counties.

Now, the province has achieved successes day by day by focusing all efforts on transportation of sheaves of rice and thrashing while promoting the rice harvest vigorously.
