Warm Affection Bestowed on an Orphan

On June 6, Juche 101(2012), a concert was given for the delegates of the Children’s Union who took part in the celebrations of the 66th anniversary of the founding of the Korean Children’s Union in the capital city of Pyongyang.

When the concert was over, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un met some of the delegates in the lounge.

Among them was an orphan from Phyongsong Middle School for Orphans.

She earnestly told how happy she was under the care of the General Secretary giving warm love to all the schoolchildren across the country.

Listening to her heartfelt words, the General Secretary appreciated her laudable mind.

Presently, he went out with the delegates to see the fireworks display.

During the period, the General Secretary held the orphan by the wrist and placed the orphan in front of him.

The orphan gave way to tears of happiness.

The General Secretary patted her on the back and kindly told her to stop crying and wave at the fireworks display.

The benevolence of the General Secretary was just the same as that of a kindhearted father who takes the warmest care of the orphans who long for kindred feelings.

Benches Newly Arranged

Once, the respected General Secretary visited Changjon Primary School in Central District.

When he made rounds of several classrooms and went out to the corridor, a shadow passed over his face.

The officials were puzzled. They thought everything was perfect within the school.

After a short while, the General Secretary pointed at one side of the corridor.

Then he said that benches with hangers behind them should be arranged there.

If so, pupils would hang their raincoats and winter coats there and have a rest sitting there during their break.

The officials were wrapped in emotion.

To place benches with hangers in the corridor was an attentive measure which could be taken only by the General Secretary who loves the rising generation the most.

Passing through the corridor, he said that he would send the benches in person and he would let the officials in the relevant sector grasp details about the distance between classroom entrances and the number of benches needed.

Hence, benches newly appeared in the corridor.

This single story clearly shows how ardent the General Secretary’s love for the rising generation is.
