The enthusiasm for study through the tele-education system is growing day after day.

As for the tele-education faculty of Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry, the number of its enrollers increases year by year, and this year’s exceeds over 10 000.

Among them are scientists, technicians and educators who are eager to contribute to development of science and technology and education of the country by equipping themselves with profound knowledge. And workers and disabled soldiers also enroll in the faculty.

Thanks to its advantages of ensuring that anybody attend a lecture regardless of the time and place and giving instant understanding of various sci-tech issues arising in production practice, people who want to enroll in the faculty increase in number.

The faculty director said that many of its graduates were granted doctorate and master’s degree and some of undergraduates are valued as treasures of their units.

Many production units including the Taedonggang Foodstuff Factory, the Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory, the Taedonggang Beer Factory and the Pyongyang Children’s Foodstuff Factory understood the advantage of tele-education through practice and let their employees enroll in the system.

The working people’s ever-growing enthusiasm for and pride in learning have been witnessed across the country.

A worker of the Taedonggang Foodstuff Factory said as follows:

"When I face a knotty problem during work I visit the sci-tech dissemination room and everything goes well. I think this is a pride of studying while working."

Anybody can be a talent when he is determined. This is the scene which can be seen only in our people-centered socialist country where everybody benefits from the advanced study-while-you-work system and the sci-tech dissemination rooms.
