The Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), the most dignified one which has the longest history as the socialist ruling party, greets its 79th birthday.

The WPK was founded on Oct.10, Juche 34(1945). Since then it has guided the Korean revolution to victory for nearly 80 years.

The long course paved by our Party is the proud history of victory and honor in which it has created the excellent example of the Juche-oriented revolutionary party building and displayed its invincible might to the full under the wise leadership of the peerlessly great persons.

President Kim Il Sung founded the WPK and shaped the lines and policies of the Party reflecting the people’s opinion. The President put the promotion of the people’s well-being forward as the highest principle of our Party’s activities and rallied the whole people closely behind the Party.

And Chairman Kim Jong Il strengthened and developed the WPK as steel-strong one in which the whole Party moves as one with the leader as its center and built it as a genuine political leadership organization which resolutely adheres to the revolutionary principles in any circumstances and vigorously advances the revolution by organizing and enlisting the masses.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un has further strengthened our Party into an invincible one as required by the new century.

He clarified the outstanding ideology and theory for permanently preserving the revolutionary doctrine and character of the Party and provided an everlasting foundation for adhering to its revolutionary character nature and endlessly heightening the fighting efficiency and leadership ability.

The world people realize once again the truth through our Party’s history shining as a model of building a revolutionary party that the greatness of the party is just the greatness of its leader and the position and role of the party depends on the idea and leadership of the leader.

Therefore, the world progressive people envy our Party saying that the WPK is invincible as it upholds the great leader.

Today, our people wage a vigorous struggle to achieve the overall development of socialism and build the ideal society of humanity with pride and honor of holding the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in high esteem as the general secretary of the WPK.
