Chongam District in Chongjin City produces tens of kinds of building parts needed for rural construction after laying out its own building materials production bases.

The district aimed at increasing the variety of building parts this year and launched bold undertakings to this end.

In particular, it channeled major efforts into producing a variety of quality building parts with raw and other materials abundant in their locality.

It assigned officials detailed tasks for further consolidating the local building materials production bases and took active steps related to the equipment supply. Meanwhile, it paid attention to strengthening the ranks of technicians and skilled workers and thoroughly ensuring the quality of products.

For this, the district selected and allotted demobilized soldiers to the building materials production bases and improved their technical and skill level in various ways and methods.

It propelled the work to sufficiently supply materials necessary for expanding the variety of building parts in a foresighted manner.

In this course, it has developed and produced quality building parts of tens of kinds and sent them to the rural housing construction sites this year alone.

At the moment, the officials and workers in the district keep putting spurs to further reinforcing the building materials production foundations by their own efforts and technology with a unanimous will to positively contribute to realizing the Party’s grand plan for rural construction.
