Agricultural officials and workers and helpers across the country are striving for conclusion of this year’s farming; as of Oct. 12, the rice harvest was completed in the main throughout the country.

The agricultural workers and officials over-fulfilled their daily plan since the first day of rice harvest with high enthusiasm for repaying the benevolence of the Party with rich harvest.

South Hwanghae Province takes the lead in harvest.

Those in South Phyongan Province and Pyongyang and Nampho municipalities, mindful of significance and importance of farming conclusion, also made efforts to conclude the harvest as soon as possible.

Similar successes were also made in South Hamgyong, North Hamgyong, Kangwon, North Phyongan, North Hwanghae and Jagang provinces.

Now, transport of rice sheaves, thrashing and procurement are being actively promoted throughout the country.
