On Day of Meeting to Congratulate Innovators

There took place a meeting of congratulating innovators at the supplies provision station of the Chongjin Railway Bureau days ago.

Amid the loud applause, bunches of flowers were presented to innovators and a woman employee suddenly went to the officials with a bunch of flowers she received.

And then she said in an excited voice that she could be an innovator as officials took warm care of the employees’ life.

Following her, other employees gave bunches of flowers to the officials, shedding tears.

Pak Song Il, director of the station, and other officials are like their kinsmen.

Seeing the figures of the officials who paid deep attention lest they should feel slight inconveniences in their lives and showed warmer loving care on their birthdays and holidays, they used to feel kindred affection and make a resolve to do more work.

The officials who received the bouquets reflecting the respect of the employees resolved to be faithful servants of the employees.

A Disabled Person’s University Diploma

Ri Kuk Chol, residing in Ryonghung-dong No. 3 of Taesong District, works for the Korean Art Association of the Disabled.

Whenever he sees his university diploma hanging on the wall of his house, he recalls with emotion what happened in October last year.

One day that month, teachers of the tele-education faculty of Kim Hyong Jik University of Education visited him.

The teachers handed the university diploma over to Ri, who was puzzled for a while.

Ri was surprised.

Actually, he had already heard about the graduation ceremony but he was not well enough to attend it.

The teachers of the university helped him sincerely with his studies when he joined the faculty and visited him with his diploma out of anxiety about his health when his school days were over.

He shed tears of gratitude toward the educators.

Indeed, the disabled man’s diploma is a certificate of happiness which can be found only in our socialist country where everything serves the popular masses.

Impression A Woman Received

Several days ago a daughter of Ri Song Hui residing in Thaethan County was hospitalized in the Okryu Children’s Hospital.

At dinnertime that day she was served with nutrition foodstuff like her daughter. The doctor in charge informed her of the fact that the adults tending the sick at the Okryu Children’s Hospital are supplied with seafoods, eggs and various processed bean foods as much as daily supply to an adult patient in other hospitals.

The next day a woman visited her, saying that children at the hospital were to learn like at school while receiving treatment, and took her daughter to the classroom.

Looking at her daughter led by teacher, she was so impressed by the benevolent socialist system.
