For Happy Laughter of Children

Medical workers of the respiratory organs internal curative department of the Okryu Children’s Hospital display warm love for human beings and high medicine for defending happy laughter of the children.

A few months ago a child of serious respiratory disorder was carried to the department. The medical workers of the department reached the conclusion that the best way to survival of the child lies in performing an operation.

The department head Kim Jong Ae and other medical workers, keeping in their minds the expectation and trust of the child’s parents who wished their child survival, did their best for the child and thus the operation was a great success.

Afterwards the medical workers devoted themselves to the child’s recovery of health and took warm care of the child with kindred affection.

When the child regained health and left the hospital with parents, the medical workers of the department felt again the pride of doctors responsible for human life.

For Good Eyesight of People

Not long ago a woman visited the Ryugyong General Ophthalmic Hospital with her younger sister. She was Ri Son Jong residing in Solbong-ri, of Kosan County, Kangwon Province.

She visited the hospital because her sister suffered from a congenital cataract.

Medical workers of the pediatric ophthalmic department including Kim Chol Min, head of the department, took warm care of the young patient and her sister amid the discussions on treatment methods lest they should feel inconvenience.

Three operations were carried out for the patient. After the operations the medical workers provided various nutritious foods to the patient and at last, the patient came to regain her eyesight thanks to the warm affection of the medical workers.

Ri Son Jong shed tears looking at her sister and expressed gratitude toward the benevolent socialist country.
