A joint on-line seminar titled "The Workers’ Party of Korea shining with its 79-year long history" was held by Brazilian political parties and organizations on Oct. 11 to mark the 79th founding anniversary of the WPK.

Present there were personages of political parties and organizations, members of the Juche idea study organizations and organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people in Brazil.

Speeches were made there.

A member of the National Political Committee of the Brazilian Communist Party said that the WPK has successfully played its role as the guiding force leading the independent and prosperous socialist construction to victory as it has been led by President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, and that under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, the WPK will always emerge victorious in the future, too.

The chairperson of the Brazilian Center for the Study of the Juche Idea, the chairperson of the Brazilian Center for the Study of Songun Politics, the chairperson of the Brazilian Center for Peace and Solidarity with Peoples and the official representative of the Brazilian Branch of the Korean Friendship Association lauded the WPK founded by President Kim Il Sung, founder of the Juche idea and great revolutionary, as the iron-willed vanguard ranks successfully carrying forward the glorious revolutionary traditions.

Meanwhile, a joint celebration meeting of Venezuelan political parties took place on Oct. 9 on the occasion of the 79th founding anniversary of the WPK.
