With Noble Personality as Educator

Prof. and Dr. Ri Myong Song, department head of socio-political faculty of Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, is an educator who is devoting his efforts to the education for 30-odd years with pride and self-confidence of being a professional revolutionaries in nurturing the future of the country.

Since Ri stood at platform he has kept a motto that what is more important for a teacher than ability or scholastic ability is the personality as educator.

When a new teacher of the department gave the first lecture in May, Ri said to him as follows after inspecting his lecture as an observer:

The students do not learn only knowledge through the lecture hours. They feel the height of the platform at which they should stand and the value of the revolutionary posts entrusted to the educators by the country through the teachers’ figures. …

Such ardent sincerity has become a driving force that encourages all teachers to devote themselves to education with noble traits as educators and thus it suffused the department with the collectivist spirit of helping and leading each other forward.

That’s why the teachers of the department created several research-type teaching methods this year alone to generalize them across the country. Some days ago, all the members of the department won academic degrees and titles, thus consolidating their position as a prestigious teacher group.

He is still reliably defending the platform entrusted by the country with a constant figure for making his disciples know what they should learn for and how they should live to become good people.

Painstaking Passion and Spirit of Inquiry

Han Chung Hyok, a teacher of Phyongsong University of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, is a promising educator in his thirties. This is unanimous voice resounded from the national contests and teachers of the university.

His success is not big for him who made the first step as a teacher.

Several new teaching method certificates, new teaching method introduction certificates, invention certificates of experimental apparatus and teaching aids and master’s degree are the fruits of his ardent spirit of inquiry for education.

He made strenuous efforts, always bearing in mind that desire and enthusiasm are not enough to glorify the platform entrusted by the country and the teachers’ career should lead to painstaking research.

He grasped the advantages of new teaching methods which are being generalized across the country and intensified the study for introducing them into realities of the university.

And he made every effort to produce valuable results conducive to the development of the country’s livestock farming.

In those days, he was able to create a research-type teaching method that contributes to enhancing the research and study abilities of students in veterinary teaching through finding problems and solving them during field surveys.

They say that this teaching method makes the students solve several problems arising in reality after the graduation, winning great popularity.

He is still engrossed in thinking and research bearing in his mind that if he slackens his step, there may be vacuum in the education.
