Volunteers Who Grew Up to Be Innovators

The youth sub-workteam of Kuhak Farm in Chongdan County, a group of innovators, has scored a richer harvest than others.

The farmers talked in unison that the success was fruition brought by the collectivist spirit of helping and leading each other forward.

The sub-workteam took warm care of volunteers for bringing them up as real farmers and led them as soon as possible since they were newly assigned to the farm.

In particular, Kong Myong Il, head of the sub-workteam, encouraged them saying that the Party trusted in our young people and put them forward, and they can carry out any tasks.

And he organized in detail so that experienced farmers took charge of them one by one to help, while paying deep attention to their life.

Also the members of the sub-workteam were always concerned for training the newcomers to be full-fledged innovators, they walked even at night for providing them with new dresses and strove to prepare special dishes for them on their birthdays.

In those periods, all the volunteers grew up to be innovators and pillars of the farm.

The members of the youth sub-workteam are now taking the lead in the drive to attain the goal of grain production set forth by the Party without fail, pooling their will and mind and sharing joys and sorrows with each other.

After Emergency Consultation

There took place an emergency consultation of primary officials at the material preparation workshop of the general practice factory in Kim Chaek University of Technology in mid-September.

The consultation discussed to help a worker in the repair of his house.

Telling about the living conditions of the worker who have just married, Pae Kwang Il, head of the workshop, apologized his irresponsible work attitude which failed to learn about the mental hardships of the employees in time and called on the primary officials to help the former’s house-repairs.

The primary officials were touched by Pae’s saying.

He always paid deep attention to the work and life of the employees to solve the knotty problems in time.

As Pae’s devoted figure for others was a model of the employees, the noble spirit of helping and caring for each other could be prevailed in the workshop.

All the participants in the consultation responded his suggestion and turned out for the repair of his house.

Thus, it was finished in a short span of time.

Seeing the well-arranged house in a few days, the former was moved to tears and made a new determination to devote all his enthusiasm to his job with the pride of being a member of the collective full of love and affection.

Increasing Family Members

Han Sun Gum, an elder at the South Hamgyong Provincial Old People’s Home, has many family members; Hwang Son Hwa and other members of the Yonggwang County Construction Brigade.

10-odd years ago Hwang Son Hwa was informed of the fact that an elder performed good deeds for contributing to the country even a little though she lived alone without any kin. She was impressed by the elder’s deed and decided to become her daughter.

She fetched the elder to her house and took warm care of the elder with her husband as a family member. They have devoted all sincerity to the elder.

Later, the members of the construction brigade and villagers knew the deed of Hwang and followed Hwang. Since the elder moved to the old people’s home they have visited the elder every month and enjoyed each other’s company like a happy family.

Indeed, our socialist large family is always filled with laughter of happiness thanks to fine people as Hwang who become children of the elders without any kin.
