 Officials and working people in Wonsan City spruced up the appearance of the Haean(Coastal) Park as required by the new era.

The city secured thousands of trees of dozens of good species and turfs for covering myriads of square meters of land, mindful of the importance of remodel of the park in the work for providing the citizens with circumstances of cultural and emotional life.

The city horticultural station and other units erected four public service buildings, several folk game play grounds, resting place, etc. in harmony with the seaside scenery and modern aesthetic taste.

The citizens planted a lot of turfs and thousands of flowers to beautify the park, mindful that they spruce up their native town with their own efforts.

The city dynamically conducted the work for equipping the park with amusement machines. So, the Haean Park was excellently face-lifted in less than four months.
