Data He Brought with Him to the Exhibition

In August one year, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un inspected a farm machine exhibition.

He said he was going to take measures for producing modern and high-performance farm machines in large numbers and supplying them to rural areas after looking round the exhibition.

He continued that it took him a while to study about the problems arising in boosting the country’s farm machine industry and prepare data on modern farm machines.

The officials were wrapped in excitement at the thought of the painstaking efforts he would have taken even preparing the relevant data.

Presently, he handed out to the officials magazines, he had brought with him, about modern farm machines, saying that only those with broad horizons can get a good understanding of the worldwide trend of farm machine development and devise and manufacture modern and effective farm machines, and added that he had paid much attention to preparing the data.

The officials reproached themselves for causing the great respected General Secretary, so busy with all the state affairs, to be troubled with the matter of farm machines.

However, instead of blaming them, he made plain explanations about the data and promised he would collect and send more data related to farm machines.

Looking up to him, the officials pictured to themselves the day when the farm machines of our manufacturing would run at full capacity in farm fields across the country.

Task He Assumed of His Own Accord

One May day, 2015, the respected General Secretary inspected a farm.

At that time, the farm was faced with a task to build a modern greenhouse capable of hastening the breeding date, which required the solution of quite a few sci-tech matters.

A unit had a greenhouse of similar kind which was a modern one where all management and operation processes were done in an automated way.

An official unreservedly requested of the respected General Secretary that it would be good if the farm had that kind of greenhouse.

The next moment, he regretted doing so because the respected General Secretary had already taken great pains for the development of the farm.

Nonetheless, the respected General Secretary gladly said he would solve the greenhouse problem as the modern greenhouse would enable them to cut the term of trial into half.

The officials felt excited.

A short while ago, the respected General Secretary had taken measures to solve the problem of lack of cultivated land for research work, and had seen to it that necessary farming materials were supplied at any cost.

The officials could feel how much the respected General Secretary was anxious for the country’s farming.

This story conveys the efforts and exertions the respected General Secretary makes in order to develop the country’s agriculture as soon as possible and thereby provide the people with more affluent living conditions.
