North Hamgyong Province has secured plenty of tree saplings to be planted in mountains of hundreds of hectares in the tree-planting season.

The leading officials of the province frequented the provincial tree nursery to learn about arising problems and provided it with lots of tree seeds, tree saplings of rare kinds and other materials.

They also paid attention to supplying aplenty home-made compost, chemical fertilizers and a variety of medium- and small-sized farming tools.

The employees of the tree nursery made an active use of several nutrients and growth stimulators and raised the scientific level of sapling production, thereby producing saplings of tens of superior breeds in a large number.

The Onsong County Forest Management Station focused on producing tree saplings of great economic value.

They made an upswing in production of saplings of apricot trees, oil-bearing chestnut trees, pine-nut trees and the like by applying quality manure and taking good care of the tree saplings.

Those of the Kim Chaek City Forest Management Station endeavored to grow solid saplings for autumn tree planting.

Suit was followed by tree nursery workers in Hwadae and Kilju counties.

At present, officials and workers of the province put spurs to the preparations for the autumn tree planting with patriotic zeal to spruce up their homeland in a more beautiful way.
