After Year-end Account Settlement and Income Distribution
Not long ago, the Wolam-ri Party committee in Kumchon County summoned Rim In Sok, an old man residing in Wolam-ri. He could not know the reason as he became a pensioner long ago.
Officials of the Wolam Farm guided him to a building where Kim Chang Hyok and Rim Un Sun, who worked together with Rim In Sok and became pensioners, waited for him.
They recollected the past days and talked about the year-end account settlement and income distribution held a few days ago.
After a while, several aged persons appeared and an official of the Wolam-ri Party committee took them to a liberal table.
The old persons enjoyed themselves and received various kinds of daily necessaries from officials of the Wolam Farm. They felt a lump in their throats. Then the official of the ri-Party committee said:
"It is the noble traits of our society and due obligation of our generation to respect and uphold the revolutionary forerunners."
Scientific Research Prize to Disabled Soldier Student
Jang Hyok Chol, disabled soldier student studying at Sinuiju Disabled Soldiers’ University of Economics, recently received a University Student Scientific Research Prize.
Several years ago, Jang was wounded during his military service. He was afraid of doing nothing for the country.
However, a lot of people devoted sincerity to recovering his health. Among them are numerous medical workers, residents of his neighborhood unit and other people.
Jang Hyok Chol, an ordinary disabled soldier, has received great social benefits.
One day Jang knew that there is a disabled soldiers’ university of economics in our country.
Deeply feeling gratitude to the Party which regards disabled soldiers as important persons, he made up his mind to study hard and devote his wisdom and enthusiasm to the socialist system. Since then he has studied hard and now he is a student learning at the graduating class of above-said university.
Jang expressed his will to learn a lot for the motherland which makes the disabled soldiers realize their hopes and dreams on the day when he received a University Student Scientific Research Prize.
The prize reflects the superiority of our socialist system and the desire of the disabled soldiers to repay the benevolence of our Party.
