Chonju Falls at Puyon-ri is located in a deep valley 14km far away from Puyon-ri, Sinhung County in South Hamgyong Province.

The falls flows down over the precipice consisting of two steps of granite.

Its height is 60m and its width is 10m in the rainy season and 2m in the dry season.

The surroundings of the falls are covered with a lot of trees such as oak, maple and Aceraceae meno.
