More People Move into New Houses in DPRK

New dwelling houses have appeared at a seat village of the Kumdae Farm in Rangnang District, Pyongyang Municipality of the DPRK.

300 modern flats built in the suburbs of Pyongyang are the cradles of happiness provided under the care the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK).

A ceremony for moving into those houses took place on the spot on March 29.

Present there were Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the WPK, officials of Party and power organs in Rangnang District, officials and builders of the units engaged in the construction project and agricultural workers to own the houses.

Hong Hyon, vice-chairperson of the Pyongyang Municipal People’s Committee, made a congratulatory speech.

Licenses for the use of the houses were handed over to the farmers and speeches were made.

Farmers moved into new houses amid the playing of peasants’ music and cheerful dance.

Officials visited the owners of new houses to share joy with them, offering them daily necessities.
