Officials and shock brigade members of the Ryanggang Provincial Brigade of the Land Realignment Shock Brigade have made achievements in successfully carrying out the Party’s far-reaching plan to perfectly spruce up Samjiyon City into a model unit in potato farming and standard model unit in flawlessly realizing the comprehensive mechanization of rural economy.

The brigade has turned over 130 hectares of farmland in Samjiyon City into mechanized and standardized fields till the end of October and thus fulfilled its plan for this year.

True to the Party’s intention to better the Paektu area as befitting the land of socialist state, the officials and members of the shock brigade launched land realignment at farms in Samjiyon City in May.

The brigade waged organizational and political work with fresh vigour so that all the shock brigade members turned out in an extraordinary determination. It worked out a detailed plan under the conditions that more than 10 processes should be carried out for land realignment and conducted strong operation and command to increase the operating rate of machinery.

All battalions hastened the realignment of the land in real earnest.

Thanks to the devoted efforts of the officials and shock brigade members, the land realignment in Samjiyon City planned for this year could be successfully completed.
