In Nampho Municipality, there are not a few assets for regional development including the West Sea Barrage which was built with splendor as a monumental edifice representing the era of the Workers’ Party, the Wau Islet, a scenic spot on the West Sea Coast and the Kangso Mineral Water and hot springs good for promoting people’s health and treatment.

Officials of the municipality, true to the Party’s policy on regional development, propel the work for making an effective use of favorable conditions for the regional development in a far-sighted way.

On the basis of setting a target for sprucing up the surroundings of the West Sea Barrage more wonderfully under the guidance of the municipal Party committee, they face-lifted its appearance by pushing forward with the construction while newly building or remodeling the service buildings in the bathing resort.

The Ryonggang Folk Park is a place frequented by the people as it gives national feelings.

This district, where the house of Kim Ung So, a famous patriotic general, is located, has sites for wrestling, swinging and archery enabling the people to enjoy a cultural and emotional life.
