Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, sent a floral basket to Thongloun Sisoulith, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and president of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, on the occasion of his 79th birthday.

On November 8, the DPRK ambassador to Laos courteously handed over the floral basket bearing the august name of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to the chairman of the Committee for External Affairs of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) who is member of the Central Committee of the LPRP.

Written on ribbons of the floral basket were the letters "I wish Thongloun Sisoulith, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and president of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, good health".
