Paying Attention to Their Working Conditions
In January, Juche 106 (2017), the respected General Secretary
What he paid deep attention to that day was the problem of providing the workers with good working and living conditions.
During his tour of the sewing workshop, he sat unreservedly on a sewer’s chair and watched the LED florescent lamps fixed at the workshop.
He then told the officials that the luminous intensity of the LED florescent lamps had to be controlled properly lest the sewers feel inconvenient and continued that the sewers might feel pain in their eyes after the daily eight-hour sewing.
The officials felt embarrassed as they had thought the double illumination system established at the workshop to be enough for the convenience of the sewers.
When he dropped in at the designing room, he taught that the furnishings had to be so arranged as to be convenient for the designers to present their designs, deliberate on them and review them jointly.
He said considerately that a projector had to be arranged to enable the designers to get together, share opinions with each other and hold consultations.
His teachings full of profound and warm-hearted fatherly love touched the officials’ hearts.
Looking up to the respected General Secretary, who paid deep attention to providing the employees with better working conditions, they realized once again the viewpoint on service to the employees they should possess.
Earnest Request
Once, the respected General Secretary inspected a foodstuff factory.
He looked round the factory compound and said that, now that the factory had been equipped with plenty of buildings and equipment for the production, the workers had to direct efforts to managing the factory well and putting the production on a normal footing.
The officials felt a lump in their throats as they remembered the pains he had taken to bring about a change to the factory.
Inspecting the production workshop, the respected General Secretary said that they had done a really good job and that the biggest achievement the factory had made was to have realized the modernization of technical processes, which even the countries with advanced foodstuff industry didn’t dare to do, by their own efforts and technology.
Presently, he guessed the temperature of the production workshop and said that it was still hot there and that the efficiency of air conditioners and ventilators had to be examined.
He continued that the factory had to set higher goals for ensuring germ-free and dust-free production environment without resting on their laurels.
His request reflected the great love of the benevolent father who is anxious to provide our people and the service personnel with foodstuffs perfect in terms of flavor, nutritive value and hygiene.
