Lifeline of Building Powerful Socialist Country

One August day in 2019 the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un gave some officials precious instructions relating to education of the country.

The officials were greatly excited to see the respected General Secretary whom they had yearned for so much.

Looking at them, he said that it is the intention and decision of our Party to bring about a radical turn in education and put the education onto the most developed level as soon as possible.

His saying made all of them permeated with solemn emotion.

Education has played a big role in carving out the man’s destiny along with the development of humankind and each country and nation has developed on the basis of education as its foundation. Furthermore, in today’s world, the national power race is just the sci-tech competition as well as the competition of education and talents, its basis, and its fierceness reminds people of an invisible war.

Therefore, the respected General Secretary regards the education as the direct factor related to the destiny of the country and pays deep attention to it.

Looking at them, the respected General Secretary earnestly stressed again that education is one of the most important state affairs and the lifeline of building a socialist powerful country.

Indeed, the instruction he made that day reflects his noble idea that when education is regarded as a lifeline the building of socialist powerful country can be accelerated as much as possible.

Extracurricular Education He Stressed

One November day in 2016 the respected General Secretary inspected the Samjiyon Schoolchildren’s Palace.

That day he called in on a math group room and learned in detail about the operation of the group.

After a while he, saying that the Party organizations should pay attention to work of arranging and operating the extracurricular education bases, added that extracurricular education through schoolchildren’s palace should be conducted well and that education for posterity is a work the Party attaches great importance to.

Listening to his saying, officials felt self-reproach; as they left the extracurricular education to the relevant guiding officials and showed less concern for it.

He instructed that the education field should not slight the extracurricular education.

His saying was a precious instruction implying the noble intention that nothing should be spared for our children.

That day the officials made a firm pledge to bring up our schoolchildren into excellent talents equipped with rich knowledge by developing extracurricular education.
