Our Science Should Be Live One

One September day in 2021, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un sat together with senior officials of the Party Central Committee to mention important issues for developing national science and technology.

He said the State Academy of Sciences has a lot of things to do and it should set something practically conducive to enhancing the people’s living standard and economic development as its task and solve the arising sci-tech problems so that our science can be live one pulling the above-said work.

Our science should be live one pulling the work for enhancing people’s living standard and economic development.

This meaningful instruction reflects the great trust of the General Secretary who hopes that scientists and technicians, responsible for the frontline in advancing our cause, will successfully perform their mission and duty in the on-going gigantic struggle for building a powerful socialist country.

Looking up to the respected General Secretary, the officials redoubled their pledge to open the shortcut to building an economy power holding fast to science and technology as lifeline.

Dear Home of Learning Knowledge

The respected General Secretary inspected the Ssuk Islet one June day in 2014.

That day the General Secretary said that they had planned to build a futsal gymnasium on the islet before, but it did not suit the specific conditions of our country. Stressing the need to make all the people be well-versed in science and technology in order to build our country into a world power, he said he made up his mind to erect a sci-tech disseminating center on the Ssuk Islet associated with the leadership exploits of President Kim Il Sung.

He continued that the Sci-Tech Complex should be wonderfully built as a structure fully reflecting our Party’s idea of attaching importance to science and technology and the dear home of all the people including scientists, technicians, researchers and students for learning knowledge to the full.

Seeing both banks of the River Taedong, the General Secretary said with pleasure that the Sci-Tech Complex on the Ssuk Islet would be a spring board for making our country outpace the world.

Looking around the Ssuk Islet, the officials pictured a grand appearance of the Sci-Tech Complex to be built as the dear home of the people for learning knowledge, thanks to the great idea of the great father.
