Mt Okryon is in the boundary between Kim Hyong Gwon County of Ryanggang Province and Pujon County of South Hamgyong Province.

They say that Mt Okryon was formed by gem stones. The mountain has a lot of trees like Korea larch, spruce and Abies nephrolepis.

The most famous one among the scenic spots is the Block Stream of Mt Okryon. Water runs murmuring under the blocks. The Block Stream of Mt Okryon is a valuable natural monument. It is of academic and scenic significance, adding to beauty to the mountain.

The odd rocks along the ridge of the mountain are also famous as tourists are captivated by them.

Now Mt Okryon serves as a scenic spot in our country.
