South Phyongan Province is pushing ahead with afforestation and greening in the newly-built modernized rural villages with the autumn tree planting as an occasion.

The province put great efforts into its operation, aware of the importance of doing well the afforestation of the new rural villages in carrying out the Party’s grand plan for rural construction.

First of all, the province ensures that the relevant units including cities and counties tree nurseries in the province provide conditions for making well the afforestation design in a substantial way to sustain the geographical features of the modern rural villages.

And it sees to it that officials of the cities and counties positively arouse the owners of new houses to the tree-planting for beautifying their native places.

Meanwhile, tree planting is being conducted in the new rural villages of the province. Working people in the province are planting many trees every day with the will to repay the benevolence of the Party which ushered in a new era of rural development.

Phyongsong and Tokchon cities and Unsan and Sukchon counties are actively promoting the work to add beauty to the new rural villages with good species of trees such as zelkova and ginkgo trees, while carrying out their daily plan without delay.

The officials and working people in other cities and counties, including Sunchon City, Mundok and Hoechang counties, are also making big stride in afforestation and greening, which is of great significance in sprucing up modern rural villages beautifully.

The province is hastening the preparations for successfully ensuring the afforestation of next year in a foresighted way while heightening the masses’ surging enthusiasm.
