Continuous Innovation and Continuous Progress Should Be Made

One December day, Juche 106(2017), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un sat together with the senior officials of the Party Central Committee and gave precious instructions on issues arising in holding aloft the banner of principle of giving priority to self-development in the socialist power building.

Referring to the fact that some officials in the economic sector were only intent on exhibiting and boasting of machineries produced from the machine-building industrial field, he seriously pointed out their mistakes that self-producing such products were, of course, a precious success, but those were not yet comparable to the world development trend.

The officials reproached themselves for not considering whether those products reach a satisfactory level in quality suitable for the will of our Party and people to outpace the whole world.

Looking around the officials, the respected General Secretary said with emphasis that we should not praise ourselves a small success but make continuous innovation and continuous progress with an ambition to do anything better than others.

Listening to his instruction, the officials keenly realized once again the noble intention of the respected General Secretary who, saying that even a moment of indolence and slackness or even a slight stagnation and standstill should not be allowed in today’s struggle, gives great strength and courage whatever he inspects.

Not self-praise but continuous innovation and progress should be made.

Indeed, his words were a wise saying that teaches officials from what standpoint they should work in today’s struggle for building the most advantageous socialist power in the world.

Pasture Issue He Personally Taught

One April day, Juche 101(2012), the respected General Secretary inspected the Mansugyo Fish and Meat Shop.

Making rounds of the shop, he said to officials that we should raise domestic animals in large numbers to produce a lot of meat.

His saying dumbfounded the officials in his company as they only thought about the management of the shop and its service, looking round the modern shop.

The respected General Secretary stressed the need to produce meat in large quantities even citing an instance in detail: in order to raise domestic animals a lot, creating pasture well is needed and stockbreeding using pasture is more profitable than farming.

Then he pointed out some deviations appearing in creating pasture.

That day the respected General Secretary, saying that even a pasture should be created and managed in a good way, gave detailed instructions on the issues arising in creating pasture.

Indeed, the issue of creating pasture he indicated at a commercial service center was a precious lecture which can only be given by the respected General Secretary who always regards it as a general objective to promote the people’s wellbeing and meditates the relevant issues in three dimensional way.
