South Phyongan Province pushes ahead with the preparations for next year’s farming.

The province conducts operation and command for realizing it, bearing in mind the importance of finishing the preparations for next year’s farming.

According to this, farms in the province concentrate efforts on the production of barnyard manure and securement of seedbed materials while stepping up the ploughing of paddy and dry fields.

The farms in Phyongwon, Songchon, Hoechang and other counties have registered high ploughing results and made remarkable successes in carpeting the fields with humus soil and slaked lime for improving the low-yielding areas.

Meanwhile, Anju City and other regions are increasing the barnyard manure production.

Officials and agricultural workers are putting further spurs to tapping raw materials and the production of fermented compost.

In this process, the number of the farms which completed the preparations for next year’s farming in the main is increasing continuously.
